Harbor Light Health is not your everyday home care company. Owners Mike Ball a service Veteran, and Matt Gelso are actively involved in our clients care. They are avid hunters and fisherman. Matt is a Michigan Hunter safety instructor and holds special hunter safety courses for the disabled, and the safe use of Adaptive equipment.

Adaptive equipment:
Adaptive equipment is available to loan at no charge to our clients. Equipment includes but not limited to Beach chairs, “Be Adaptive” LCD monitor scope systems, Vacuum or bite activated triggers mechanisms, “Be Adaptive" hunting equipment is for high quads with little or no arm and hand use.

For the people that Love fishing, we have several special Adaptive rod and reel setups to assist quads when they go fishing. Sip and Puff activated casting & retrieving reels or Joystick controller, we even have rod splints. Also we work with several Charter Captains throughout Michigan that accommodate our chair bound clients.

We also have several accessible hunting spots that have been set up with the DNR and private land owners for use for our clients with barrier issues. Just call and ask how Harbor Light Health can help you to access the Outdoors.
